New In | Birkenstock - Madrid

Hi Lovelies!

I thought that the huge trend of wearing Birkenstocks this summer won't actually get me that excited to become brave enough and try them. I know myself better than anybody else and i can't go around wearing a trend I don't feel comfortable about. I mean, I used to hate these kind of shoes in middle school (and I don't (and can't) believe that somebody in there actually enjoyed wearing them (besides the teachers, of course).
I just really, really didn't want to wear them! I got soooo many notes because of the continual " I forgot them at home, I am soo "sorry", blabla kind of excuses ..."
They were soo ugly and just awfull to me. I couldn't handle even seeing them and they were everywhere. Yuck!
I remember when teachers had their "soles" so consumed because of wearing them too often ( for sure, for years), that it actually looked like an enormous chewing gum thingy sticked to the actual shoe sole or so. Grose and disgusting but whatever ...
Every time I saw it I was like : "What did I do to deserve this extraordinary view of so much "I don't care how my shoes looks like, so do your own business and stop looking at me, they're comfy ... "?
I wanted so badly to ask my teacher: Tell me ...Why? Why don't you just take some time and go get a new pair? I don't believe they are so expensive, You can't afford a new pair after (looking at them realising the shoe is actually slowly falling appart) ehm ... Centuries? Just look at them. You can't think You can walk around the corrindors wearing these  ...  But I did it. I got myself a pair. But don't worry. They don't look like the ugly ones i mentioned before. No. These got just one strap ( the two are just too much to take for me) and a pink sole and i adore them even i got them just yesterday.

What do you actually think about them, or all the Birkenstock trend going on this summer?

A vážně. Nedávalo by to žádný smysl ...).

Lots of Love, yours V.
